The type and quantity of fish caught will depend upon the time of year, weather and sea conditions. While there are no guarantees on type and number of fish, Captain Paul Lester will do his best to maximize your time on the water. The chart below will give you an idea of what is traditionally caught throughout the year.
Spring/Summer

Blue Marlin Peak Months June - September

The Atlantic Ocean's premier gamefish. Many are caught each year in excess of 700 pounds.

This spectacular billfish is highly prized as a mount. Mounts can be obtained without killing the fish.
Dolphin Peak Months June - September

One of the most beautiful of all gamefish and delicious with a firm, white, flaky meat.

These speedy gamefish grow to great sizes off our coast and are excellent when grilled.
King Mackerel Peak Months September - April
Activity Range Year-Round
The largest member of the mackerel family can reach weights of 60 pounds or more. Delicious when grilled or broiled.
Big Bluefish Peak Months October - December and March - May
Activity Range February - June and September - December
These large fish are hard fighters and many reach 20 pounds. Delicious when smoked.Rockfish (Striped Bass) When the water temperatures drop, usually the big striped bass start showing up.
The striped bass makes an excellent eating fish. An eighteen inch striped bass usually weighs 4 pounds. When the fish reaches 8 years old, it is usually about 32 inches long, and weighs 15 pounds.
