The Osprey was built by Ricky Scarborough, one of the premier boat builders, right here on Roanoke Island and was designed for the sea conditions found off the Outer Banks. It is 50 feet long, diesel powered (1120 horsepower), well equipped and maintained. It has a comfortable air conditioned cabin with ample seating, a stateroom where you can lie down if you so desire, a clean head and a generator for 110 power.

Fishing gear consists of tackle from 20# Shamanos to 80# Penn Internationals and custom built rods to suit any type of fishing that may be encountered, It has a Scopanich fighting chair and two other fishing chairs in the spacious cockpit, and a built in fishbox to keep your catch cold.

The captain, Paul Lester, has been taking charters in this same area for over 24 years and so has plenty of local knowledge to give you a memorable experience. The mate is knowledgeable and courteous and will cheerfully give all the assistance that you desire. The Osprey offers fishing Charters year round!
